The village of Croyde in North Devon is a magical place, steeped in old world charm and a delightful coastal community of colour washed thatched cottages with a beautiful sandy bay. The wide sheltered bay, with its long broad sweep of golden sands offers safe bathing and excellent surfing. The beach is privately owned and well kept, is patrolled by lifeguards between May and September and has the prestigious Seaside Award. Cycling, horse riding, golf and tennis are available locally.
